Transforming Lives in Mexico City's Prisons
Dr. Israel Ugalde, created the programme “IC IZA El Reto de la Plenitud” (IC IZA The Challenge of Wholeness) with the aim of helping our society. This course has been given in several prisons in Mexico City and has been so successful that the authorities have requested its expansion in the prisons.
During these courses, thousands of inmates have participated and benefited from the Aztec wisdom shared through the programme. “IC IZA The Challenge of Wholeness” seeks the authentic transformation of people, helping them in their social reintegration.
With deep emotion, we present the testimonies of those who, while deprived of their freedom, have demonstrated a great capacity for reinvention. Thanks to this model, many have used its teachings to redefine their aspirations and become better human beings.
The positive impact of this course has been so evident that the Undersecretary of the Penitentiary System of Mexico City has awarded Dr. Israel Ugalde Bautista a recognition for his contribution through the programme “IC IZA The Challenge of Wholeness.” This recognition underlines the commitment to improve the quality of life and well-being of Mexicans, showing how dedication and knowledge can transform lives.
